Sony has released the official SmartEyeGlass companion app. The company has released the dedicated app for the wearable eyeware device on Google Play Store.
The companion app will enable users to control various settings of the SmartEyeglass as well as use extensions for the wearable device. It will not appear on home screen on app list and will be accessed via Sony’s Smart Connect hub or in the notification area. The SmartEyeglass app will include access to notification and display settings for the accessory. There is also a trackpad in the app that can be used to control the SmartEyeglass from your phone.

Last week, Sony released Facebook and Twitter apps that will run on the SmartEyeglass. The eyewear device is equipped with a glass see-trough displays, together with an embedded camera, accelerometer, gyroscope, compass and brightness sensors.
