IFTTT, the internet automation service has launched three new apps and rebranded its main app. The free apps – Do Button, Do Camera and Do Note are available on Android and iOS.
Do Camera allows you to create buttons specifically for quickly triggering photo-related recipes. The app lets you set up to three one-push recipes for a variety of apps. Anything you can do with an IFTTT recipe can be turned into a button in this camera app. Secondly, Do Note app enables users to send quick notes and memos, actions like emailing notes to yourself, adding items to a to-do list, and composing a tweet or Facebook status. Finally, Do Button lets you instantly access your most-used IFTTT recipes. Similar to Camera and Note, you can program Do Button with a maximum of three actions.
The new “Do” apps will be accompanied by a newly-rebranded IFTTT app, which henceforth will be known simply as “IF. IFTTT — short for “if this, then that” is known for its platform ‘Recipes’that lets users automate online and mobile actions in and between different apps and services.
