Gionee launched the Elife S7 smartphone in the S series yesterday at MWC 2015. We went hands on with the phone at the event so lets take a look at specs and hardware of the phone.

The Gionee Elife S7 sports a 5.2-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The back cover is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz Octa-core MediaTek MT6752 64-bit processor. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop it has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory.
The phone has 8MP front facing camera, earpiece and usual set of sensors.
The phone has on screen touch buttons.
The phone is dual SIM and the SIM card slot is present on the left side of the phone.
The power button and volume rockers are present on the right side.
The 3.5mm audio jack, micro USB port and loudspeaker grill is present at the bottom.
The phone measures 139.8×67.4×5.5mm and weighs 126g.
The phone has magnesium alloy frame.
The back cover also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and has Gionee branding at the center.
The phone has a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Sony IMX214 sensor.
The phone has Amigo 3.0 UI on top of based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It has a 2750mAh built-in battery and supports connectivity options like 4G LTE / 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, USB OTG, GPS. The Gionee Elife S7 comes in White, Black and Blue and Pink colors and is priced at 399 Euros (US$ 448 / Rs. 27, 730 approx). It will launch in India on April 3rd.
