Asus unveiled the Zenfone 2 smartphone at CES 2015 in January. We went hands on with the device at the MWC 2015 so lets take a sneak peek at the hardware and specs of the phone.

The Asus Zenfone 2 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display along with Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by 1.8 GHz 64-Bit Intel Atom Z3560 quad core processor. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it has 2GB RAM, 16GB internal storage expandable via micro SD card slot.
The phone has a 5MP front facing shooter along with earpiece and Asus logo at the center.
Three capacitive buttons for back, home and multitasking is present below the display.
There are no keys or buttons on either side of the phone.
The power button and 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top along with microphone.
Micro USB port is present at the bottom with the microphone.
The Zenfone 2 has a removable plastic back cover with Asus branding at the center.
There is a 13MP rear camera along with dual LED flash. Asus has taken a cue from LG as the volume rockers are situated at the back below the camera lens.
The Intel logo and Zenfone branding is seen at the lower end along with the loudspeaker grill.
Inside the back cover present is the the micro SD card and being a dual SIM phone two SIM card slots of which only one supports 3G. The phone has a 3,000mAh battery.
The Asus Zenfone 2 available in Osmium Black, Sheer Gold, Glacier Gray, Glamor Red and Ceramic White color options.
