Google confirmed that it is working on a wireless service this week. Now a new report from The Wall Street Journal is stating that the new wireless service will work only on Nexus 6.
Google’s Sundar Pichai confirmed at Mobile World Congress this week that its wireless network will allegedly work by tying together T-Mobile, Sprint, and WiFi networks and automatically choosing the one with the best service at any given time. The device will need to jump between WiFi and wireless networks (Sprint, T-Mobile) that operate according to different standards. .
Pichai also said that Google is working on will be small in size and not a threat to current wireless service providers in the U.S. According to “people familiar with the matter”, Google’s wireless service may end up launching by the end of March.
