Google has announced the launch of Calendar app for iPhone. The Google Calendar app comes with new features, like Events from Gmail, which automatically transforms events from emails into Calendar events.
The Android app received a major revamp in November last year and the same redesign continues to follow for the Google Calendar app on iPhone. Similar to Android, the iPhone app also turns emails into Calendar events automatically. Each event is color-coded based on what calendar it belongs to, and events with additional information attached to them (a location, flight details, etc.) also show up in this view.

Moving on, there is the Assists, which make suggestions for things like places and contacts to save you time creating events. Finally, the app get a new scrollable format called Schedule View that makes the calendar viewing experience more intuitive and offers a timeline view that is suitable for mobile.
