InMobi CEO Naveen Tewari denies Google’s acquisition talks

Yesterday it was reported by The Economic Times that Google is looking forward to buy Indian mobile ad network firm InMobi. However, InMobi CEO, Naveen Tewari has spoken out and denied the acquisition talks.

“We are building an amazing company in a huge market with a huge level of innovation and disruption and the disruption we are about to cause is no reason for us to look at any such deals,”

Tewari wrote in an email to staff.

Tewari has informed his employees that the report is not true and he does not intent to sell the company. Yesterday’s report had stated that the talks between the duo started in September last year and Google had not yet detailed its terms and conditions for the deal. Other sources like Reuters and The Wall Street Journal also reported the news following ET report.
