Samsung Galaxy Note Edge Android 5.0 Lollipop update starts rolling out in India

Samsung has started rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update for the Galaxy Note Edge (SM-N915G) smartphone in India, according to Sammobile. The Galaxy Note Edge smartphone was launched in India running on Android 4.4 (KitKat) back in December last year. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 got the Android 5.0 Lollipop update in India last week.

The Android 5.0 Lollipop update brings all-new material design, quick notifications on the lock screen, enhanced performance and more. Internal memory will likely be less after the update, similar to other Samsung smartphones that had received the Lollipop update earlier.

We have not received the update on our Galaxy Note Edge unit yet. We will update this article with screenshots once we have received the update.  Samsung is yet to roll out Lollipop update for Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 users in India.
