Google Now update adds ability to send hangout message with voice command

Google Now has received an update on Android that will make it easy to send out a message. Users can now “send a Hangout Message” using simple voice commands.

Google Search is getting Hangouts integration.  In order to send a message, users will have to say “Ok Google” and “Send a Hangouts Message” and then say your message. Next users will have to say the receivers name and the message will be sent without physically typing it out on the phone.

Yesterday, it was reported that Google is working on an open API for Google Now that will allow any third-party app to display information through the service.
