Pinterest has raised $367 million in latest round of funding that will lead the company’s valuation to $11 billion. The funding was led by Andreessen Horowitz and Bessemer Venture Partnersseen, as per a regulatory filing.
Pinterest also plans to raise as much as another $211 million as per the company’s spokesperson that will make the $578 million grand total. The Wall Street Journal reported that the current round includes existing and new investors. This round of funding is expected to close within the next few weeks. The filing comes after a report last month that the company was raising $500 million.
Since its founding in 2009, Pinterest has raised $762.5 million in seven rounds of funding.Pinterest’s $11 billion valuation would put the icompany among the ranks of the most highly valued private tech companies in the world.
