Motorola launched the Moto Turbo smartphone in India earlier this month. It was first introduced as Droid Turbo in the US and as Moto Maxx for the global markets. We went hands-on with the smartphone at the MWC recently, here we have the unboxing.

The Moto Turbo has a 5.2 (1440×2560 pixels) AMOLED display with 565 ppi and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.7GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 (APQ8084) processor with 600 MHz Adreno 420 GPU, packs 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a 2MP front-facing camera and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop).
The back has Ballistic Nylon finish that makes the smartphone look premium. It is also water resistant and weighs 169 grams. There is a 21MP rear camera with dual LED flash, f/2.0 aperture and supports 4K video recording. It has 4G LTE support, WiFi 802.11a/g/b/n/ac (dual band), Bluetooth 4.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS and NFC. It has a 3900 mAh built-in battery.
