LG G4 may not have the rumored metal casing

It looks like LG is giving a miss to the metal casing on its next flagship phone the G4.  LG may not feature metal in the G4, according to a report from Zdnet Korea.

The report states that LG will instead use the metal design on G4 Note that will come later this year. It is claimed that LG is looking to switch to new CNC (computer precision control) methods to create its own metal cases, which could prove to be costly in both the financial and time sense. The G3 had a plastic back and it was expected that the company will shift to metal design owing to the recent trend of metal seen by manufacturers like Samsung, Apple and Xiaomi.

LG has made no official announcement so far regarding its upcoming LG G4, but various leaks and reports tried to paint a picture of what to expect. The LG G4 is rumored to come with 5.3 to 5.7 inches screen with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels or 2880×1620 pixels, powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor S810, 3GB of RAM and 16-megapixel or a 20.7-megapixel rear camera. LG is looking forward to sell 10 million G4 smartphones in 2015.
