HP has partnered with Bang & Olufsen audio technology to its PCs, tablets and accessories. The partnership will extend to in the PCs in Spectre, Omen and Envy product line.

Upcoming HP devices will feature speakers and headphone jacks from Bang & Olufsen or the company’s B&O Play brand. The companies said each device would be custom-tuned and feature designs that separate audio circuits from other motherboard signals and limited metal in headphone jacks to produce clearer sound. All of the devices will come with an audio control panel that listeners can use to customize their sound experience.
According to HP, the new hardware with Bang & Olufsen branding and technology will first appear during Spring 2015. Regarding the technology shift, the two companies will be collaborating on fine tuning the audio experience for each product line. Until now, HP had partnered with Beats for audio technology on the PC
