Lava launched the Iris X1 Grand smartphone in January this year for Rs 7,326. The phone received Android 5.0 Lollipop update last month. Let’s take a look at the hardware and specs of the phone in detail.
The Lava Iris X1 Grand sports 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) IPS display and is powered by 1.3 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor with Mali-400 GPU. Now running Android 5.0 Lollipop, it has 1GB RAM, 8GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD.
It has proximity sensors, earpiece and 2MP camera at the front.
There are three capacitive touch buttons for menu, home and back.
The volume rockers are present on the right side.
There is a power button on the left side.
There is no keys or buttons at the bottom, you just see a small microphone hole.
The micro USB port and 3,5mm audio jack are present on the top.
At the back the phone has Iris X1 branding at the center and Lava branding at the lower end followed by the loudspeaker grill.
There is 8MP rear camera at the back along with dual LED flash.
Underneath the back cover we can see the two SIM card slots along with micro SD card slot.
There is also a 2200mAh removable battery.
The Lava Iris X1 Grand comes in White with Silver, White with Gold and Black colors and comes with a Intelligent Flip Cover.
