Facebook has launched a collaborative videos app Riff. Available on Android and iOS, the app allows users to create and share videos with friends.
“Our hunch was that if you could make videos collaboratively, the creative process would be more fun and the final product would be cooler. Today, we are introducing Riff, a creative tool to make videos with friends.”
posted Josh Miller, Product Manager, Facebook on a blog.
The newest standalone app from Facebook’s Creative Labs division builds on services like Vine, Instagram Video, or Snapchat and allows users to collaborate and add on to a friend’s video. It lets users create videos upto 20 seconds long and set tags and then your friends can see the video and add their own clips to it. As soon as a creator makes a video, their friends will get an app notification. There is no limit to the number of clips users can add to a video, and individuals can add multiple clips.
