Sony has started rolling out Android 5.0 (Lollipop) update (v23.1.A.0.690) for both the Sony Xperia Z2 and Z2 Tablet. The update is also available in India, according to the official Sony India support page. It started rolling out for the Xperia Z3 and Xperia Z3 Compact last month, but the update is yet to roll out for Indian units.
Sony also announced that the Lollipop update for the Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact and Xperia Z Ultra will roll out starting next week. It already confirmed that it will offer Lollipop update for Xperia C3 and T2 Ultra in coming weeks. Now it has confirmed that both these are next in line to get the Lollipop update. Time frame of the roll out it yet to be revealed.
