Asus Zenfone 2 Benchmarks – ZE551ML with 4GB RAM and quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 processor

Asus introduced the Zenfone 2 smartphone at CES earlier this year, which will be launched in India in three variant on April 23rd. We brought you the unboxing and photo gallery of the Zenfone 2 ZE551ML recently, here we have the benchmarks of the smartphone. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom Z3580 clocked at 2.33 GHz with PowerVR G6430 GPU and has 4GB RAM. It has a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI on top. Check out the synthetic benchmark scores below.

Quadrant Benchmark

It scored 23580 points in the Quadrant Benchmark, better than Moto X (2nd Gen) and the Xperia Z3.

AnTuTu Benchmark 5

It scored 45420 points in AnTuTu Benchmark, which is good.

Vellamo 2.0 HTML5

It scored 2188 points in the Vellamo 2 HMTL5 browser benchmark and lies behind the Xiaomi Mi smartphones.

Vellamo 2.0 Metal

It managed to score 1022 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.

Linpack Single Thread

It managed to clock 178.7 MFLOPS in Linpack Single Thread benchmark.

Linpack Multi-Thread

It managed to clock 416.46 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread Benchmark.

Geekbench 3 Single-Core

It scored 924 points in the Geekbench 3 Single-Core benchmark.

Geekbench 3 Multi-Core

It scored 2738 points in the Geekbench 3 Multi-Core benchmark

NenaMark 2

It clocked 59.7fps in NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.

GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)

It clocked 30fps and grabbed the top spot in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex On-Screen benchmark.

GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan (On screen)

It clocked 18.1fps in GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan On-Screen benchmark.

3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited

It managed to score 11608 points in the 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited GPU benchmark.

Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)

It clocked around 11.82fps in the Basemark X 1.0 On-Screen benchmark.

Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)

In the Basemark X 1.0 Off-Screen benchmark, the Zenfone 2 managed to clock around 11.93fps.

Basemark OS II

It managed to score just 412 points in Basemark OS II benchmark. These are just synthetic benchmark scores, and the real life experience might be different. We will let you know about that in the complete review soon.
