Samsung announced the Galaxy S6 Edge at MWC last month and was launched in India starting Rs 58,900. We already went hands on with the phone at MWC event and have seen the unboxing and benchmarks of the phone recently. Now let’s take a look at the hardware of the phone in the form of photo gallery.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge has a 5.1-inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) 577 PPI Super AMOLED curved edge display. It is powered by Octa-Core ( Quad 2.1GHz + Quad 1.5GHz) Exynos processor. Running Android 5.0 Lollipop, there is a 3GB RAM and it comes in 32,64 and 128GB memory variants.
There is a 5MP front facing shooter on the phone along with usual set of proximity sensors, earpiece and Samsung branding.
There is the trademark home screen button on the phone along with two capacitive touch buttons on either side.
The volume keys are present on the left side.
While the power button is on the right side. The phone measures 142.1 x 70.1 x 7.0mm and weighs just 132 grams.
The 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port, microphone and loudspeaker grill is present below.
At the top we can see the microphone, Infrared LED for remote and a nano SIM card slot.
At the back Samsung has a 16MP rear camera with LED Flash, Sony IMX240 sensor and OIS. The heart rate sensor is present below the flash. The Samsung branding is also seen at the back.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge comes in White Pearl, Black Sapphire, Gold Platinum and Green Emerald colors and is priced at Rs. 58,900 for the 32GB variant, Rs.64,900 for the 64GB variant and the 128GB variant costs Rs. 70,900.
