Zomato Base will offer restaurants a range of services including cloud-based menu, inventory and recipe management, CRM, analytics, electronic receipts any payment gateway integration. New Delhi-based MapleGraph co-founders Arun Tangri, Varun Tangri, and Abhishek Rohilla have all joined Zomato.
“We are getting into table reservations and online ordering, so you need a very strong hold into the tech that our users need,” said Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal.

Just two days back Zomato secured Rs 155 Cr in funding from InfoEdge. Zomato has recently acquired restaurant information and recommendation service provider Urbanspoon for an estimated $60 million in an all-cash deal. The company had acquired Lunchtime and Obedovat in restaurant guides in August last year.

Zomato is also getting into food delivery services in India and is launching a pilot program that will open it up to users across the country by next week.
