Google acquires smart calendar iOS app Timeful

Google has acquired smart calendar iOS app Timeful in order to make scheduling more easier. The app combines calendar, to-do list, and more and into a single calendar.

Google timeful

The Timeful app learns from you behavior, habits and schedule and automatically assigns you tasks. You can also schedule habits that you’d like to form and Timeful will include them in your calendar. As a result of the acquisition, the Timeful app will be integrated into Google Apps and will continue working as a standalone app.

“We’re excited about all the ways Timeful’s technology can be applied across products like Inbox, Calendar and beyond, so we can do more of the work for you and let you focus on being creative, having fun and spending time with the people you care about.”

posted Alex Gawley, Director of Product Management, Google in a blog.

At present, the Timeful app is only available on iOS but after the acquisition, Google might bring the app to Android platform as well. The app is still available for download from the Apple App Store and can also be used.
