All this while if you have missed playing the old classic ‘Snake’ game on your phone or have tried something similar but still preferred the original, then here’s good news for you. Taneli Armanto, the creator of the original Nokia Snake – released with Nokia 6110 in late 1997, has announced that the sequel called Snake Rewind is on its way.
Snake Rewind, which is essentially a modern retake of the classic Snake game, created together by Armanto and Rumilur Design will be unveiled for Android, iOS and Windows Phone devices on May 14. The game will be free to download and will contain in-app purchases.
The new Snake Rewind will have 10 levels, each with its own visuals and music, which will get unlocked by completing missions. You will now be able to compete with your friends alongside other players on the high scoring list.
Snake Rewind adds new features like power-ups with new fruits types such as Fruit Magnet, Trailblazer and Score Multiplier, says creators. In-app purchases can be done from Fruit store using fruits collected during game play.
Snake Rewind takes the iconic elements and intuitive gameplay from the original Snake game and combines them with cool visual effects, sounds and innovative new features. The game can be immediately picked up by everyone, while offering enjoyment for a long time with many fun and challenging goals and discoveries.
