Xiaomi’s 2015 product roadmap leaked from China hints that the company has 4 new Mi smartphones in pipeline for this year, but it’s not clear if this roadmap is only for China region or has been planned for simultaneous global release.
First of the suggested launches is the Xiaomi Mi 4s, which is said to launch next month in June. According to the tipped specifications, the Mi 4s will include a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC (MSM8994), a 13-megapixel rear camera with OIS and a 4-megapixel front-facing camera. The smartphone appears to be an iteration of the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 4i, and it is possible that the device will fit the same price bracket as of the Mi 4i.
Second and third device on this list are Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 and Redmi Note 2 Pro, which are planned for July release. The Redmi Note 2 is said to feature a 5.5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor (MSM8919), a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Pro will also feature a 5.5-inch display but with 1080×1920 pixels (full-HD) resolution. While cameras on Note 2 Pro are said to be same as the anticipated Note 2 – a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front, the processor is listed to be the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor .
Lastly in November, Xiaomi has planned to release its 2015 flagship device dubbed the Xiaomi Mi 5.
Being flagship Mi phone, the Mi 5 is tipped to feature some top-of-the-line specifications such as a 5.2-inch Quad-HD (1440×2560 pixels) display, latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, and a 20.2-megapixel rear-facing camera.
