Motorola i1 World’s first Push-to-Talk Android phone

Motorola kicked off CTIA 2010 by announcing the Moto i1 the world’s first push-to-talk Android phone. It’s a rugged phone and can withstand  blowing rain, dust, shock, vibration, temperature extremes, low pressure, salt fog, humidity and solar radiation  much more than normal devices.The i1 is designed to work on Sprint’s iDen network in USA. It runs on Android 1.5 and you get all the Google goodies such as Gmail, Google Maps and Google Talk

The phone packs a 3.1 inch touchscreen display.On the multimedia front there is a 5 Megapixel Camera with LED Flash, Audio and Video playback and Adobe Flash support.A  2GB memory card is included in the box and can be expanded up to 32GB.Connectivity includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and 2.5mm headset jack.

Surprisingly the i1 comes loaded with Opera Mini 5 Browser and you can also use the stock Android Webkit based browser with Adobe Flash Lite support
