A few days ago, we brought to you details about the 3rd generation Moto X but we didn’t have much information regarding its camera. Now we do and apparently the 3rd generation which is rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 808 processor will feature a camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization).
While it was mentioned in our earlier article that the rear camera would be a 16 Megapixel unit with ClearPixel technology. We now have word that it will also have OIS. This will make sure your photos are quite free from shakes and that your videos are also stable even when handheld. We aren’t sure whether it’s a 2 axis or 3 axis type stabilisation though.
The rear camera will also get the ability to record slow motion videos upto 120fps at 1080p resolution or even upto 240 fps at 720p resolution. You will also have the ability to record smooth videos at 60fps at 1080p resolution. The front facing camera will be a 5 megapixel unit.
Other than that, the device is said to pack a 5.2″ Quad HD AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, 3280 mAH battery and will run Android Lollipop 5.1.1 out of the box.
