Swype Keyboard for Android updated with easier number entry, two-word phrase prediction and more


Swype Keyboard has updated Android app with several new features. The latest update bumps up Swype Keyboard app to version 1.9 and adds features like easier number entry, two-word phrase prediction and more

The app is getting easier method to enter numbers where symbol suggestions could allow users to quickly type in numbers and even currency symbols. When users will be tap on keys that have numbers as secondary characters it will provide a number / symbol suggestion for example tapping “ejqp” suggests “3:10″, “swpp” suggests “$200”). Next up, the app is getting phrase prediction in which it will predict two word phrases for example if you type “How,” it may suggest “are you.” Other updates includes Chinese cloud protection and various crash and bug fixes.

Swype for Android recently received free Material Design themes, emoji and new language support and more. The update is live for Swype app on Google Play Store.
