Chinese manufacturer Meizu is rumoured to announce the MX5 smartphone by end of next month. The company has reportedly scheduled the event on June 30, where it is expected to launch the Meizu M1 Note 2 alongside.
The purported live images of the alleged Meizu MX5 smartphone have been leaked on the Chinese microblogging site Weibo (via GsmArena). The smartphone is said to include a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display along fingerprint scanner on the physical home button upfront, and a 41-megapixel rear camera with dual-LED flash.
There is no specific information about the processor as of now, but the rumour mill is suggesting the device to be backed by either octa-core MediaTek MT6795 Helio X10 SoC or the newly announced deca-core MT6769 Helio X20 SoC. It is also said to come with two RAM options – 3GB and 4GB.
Lastly, the alleged Meizu MX5 is expected to cost less than CNY 2,000 (approximately Rs. 20,600/ $322).
