Flipkart accidentally lists 3rd Generation Motorola Moto G

Online retailers usually have a lot of information regarding a handset and its availability prior to launch. Now Flipkart has accidentally listed the 3rd generation Motorola Moto G on its website which could be an indication about its release.

Normally online retailers put up these placeholders and ready the page so that they can be put up as soon as an announcement is made. So obviously Flipkart is expecting the device to be made available sometime soon.

The only specification on the page currently is the phone’s capacity which is 8GB and that it will be available in a White colour variant. The phone’s rumored specifications include a 64bit Snapdragon 610 processor with Adreno 405 GPU, 5/5.2″ 1080p display, 2GB of RAM and support for 4G LTE.

Not much else is known about the device let alone when it will be announced. The page could either be Flipkart readying the product page to go live in time for an announcement that is coming soon. Or else it could just be an error on their part. But we usually believe it is the former since when there is smoke there is always fire.
