Earlier this month, we revealed the leaked front panel as well as the leaked specifications of the selfie centric Sony phone codenamed Lavender. Now the phone has been leaked again in new photos including one that shows a close up of the upper front portion of the device.
Like in the earlier leak, the phone’s display seems to have been grayed out but at least we can see the surroundings and this time around, the display seems to be turned on. The display seems to have a bezel-less design and the selfie camera can be seen along with an LED flash. The speaker setup is similar to the Sony XPERIA Z2 and the Z4 which was announced in Japan recently.
So far we haven’t gotten any photos of the back or the sides of the device but the device is said to pack an octa-core Mediatek MT6752 chipset clocked in at 1.7GHz, 2GB of RAM, 13 Megapixel Sony IMX240 units on the front and back. The phone will run Android Lollipop 5.0 upon launch and is believe to be set for an announcement sometime next month.
