After the recent US launch, YotaPhone 2 is now up for grabs in China. Priced at CNY 4,888 (approximately Rs. 50,000/ $788), the smartphone has been listed by the manufacturer on its official website for pre-order.
The Russian manufacturer Yota Devices has partnered with Chinese company JieLan for the launch and after sale services of the second generation dual-display YotaPhone in the country. The device has already been launched in the Europe for EUR 699 and GBP 555 in the UK. In India, the official website notes, “YotaPhone 2 – The new smartphone is coming soon!”
Originally announced at the MWC earlier this year, the primary display of the YotaPhone 2 is a 5-inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) AMOLED display, where as the secondary display is a full-touch 4.7-inch e-paper display with qHD (540×960 pixels) resolution. The e-paper display offers up to 50 hours of battery life when reading on the always-on display.
The YotaPhone 2 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and is powered by a 2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone includes 32GB internal storage which is non-expandable. Checkout our full review of YotaPhone 2.
