Photos of an upcoming Xiaomi smartphone has just been leaked and it is said to be the upcoming Redmi Note 2 smartphone. The smartphone seems to be made of metal while the outgoing Redmi Note is made of plastic.
The upcoming Redmi Note 2 will also be similarly priced as the original one but will offer a more premium build quality. The Redmi Note 2 is also said to be a 5.5″ device as well. It has a 3.5mm audio jack on the top along with an IR port.
On the right side, the power/lock button and the volume rocker key are present. They too seem to be made out of metal. The back seems to have a soft touch finish to it and houses the 13 Megapixel camera along with LED flash. The device is expected to pack 2GB of RAM and a large battery as well. It will be powered by a Snapdragon processor but we don’t know which one yet. There is no word yet on the release date either but the smartphone should be announced sometime in the coming few months.
