Uber entered India last year and created some noise in the Indian taxi market. However, owing to rape allegations from a women passenger against a Uber driver in Delhi, put the company on spot for all the wrong reasons. Still, Uber has been quiet aggressive with its expansion strategy in the country and gives a tough competition to the likes of Ola and TaxiForSure. In May, the Delhi government blocked Uber and Ola as they failed to follow the order and continued its operations.
