Asus announced its first selfie focused, Zenfone Selfie smartphone at the ongoing Computex 2015 in Taipei earlier this week. Here were are bringing you a close look of the smartphone.
The Asus Zenfone Selfie sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display with Corning gorilla glass 4 protection and is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU. Running Android 5.0 (Lollipop), the phone comes with 2GB/3GB LPDDR3 RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 64 GB with microSD.
The phone has a 13MP front-facing camera with Real tone LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, 88-degree wide-angle lens along with usual set of proximity sensors and earpiece. These is also a LED notification light.
It has three capacitive touch buttons below the display and the usual chin seen on the Zenfone 2 smartphones.
The power button, secondary microphone and a 3.5mm audio jack is present on the top. Zenfone Selfie measures 156.5 x 77.2 x 10.8 ~ 3.9 mm and weighs 170 grams.
The micro USB port is present at the bottom along with a primary microphone.
At the back, the phone has 13MP rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, Real Tone flash and Laser Auto Focus. Also present at the back are the volume rockers and Asus branding at the center.
The phone has Zenfone branding and loudspeaker grill at the lower back.
The Asus Zenfone Selfie is a dual SIM phone and supports a 3000mAh battery. It comes in Pure White, Chic Pink, Aqua Blue, Glacier Gray, Sheer Gold and Glamour Red colors. It will roll out starting from July 2015, but no details about the pricing yet.
