“Snapdeal and gojavas have been working together to augment the logistics ecosystem in the country by bringing innovative customer-focused solutions. The 90-minute reverse pick-up facility is a continuing collaborative effort to design insightful logistics solutions that strengthen our supply chain infrastructure. Our association helps us create unique offerings basis Snapdeal’s insights into customers’ everyday shopping needs and gojavas’ understanding of logistics and delivery challenges, with the ultimate focus on delivering customer delight.
said Ashish Chitravanshi, Vice President Operations, Snapdeal.
Both the companies are looking forward to expand this service to all the 300 cities in the next 3-5 months. Snapdeal had acquired minority stake in logistics firm GoJavas in March this year. At that time Snapdeal had stated that they will offer 4-hour deliveries in the next few months across top 10 cities in India.
GoJavas is an Indian supply chain solution provider that was founded in 2013. It serves around 30,000 consumers per day in 85 cities and has clients such as Jabong.com, Fabfurnish, Healthkart, Yepme and Lenskart. Snapdeal is eyeing a five fold increase in the value of goods sold through its platform to $9-10 billion by December this year. The Indian e-commerce market has become extremely crowded and competitive due to which homegrown players have to up the ante when it comes to offering services to its customers.
