Hound is a new application from the developers behind the SoundHound app. It is a voice search app and is one of the fastest we’ve seen as can be witnessed in the video below.

The app itself works very similar to the way Google Now or Siri works. You ask and question and it finds the answer for you. But what really sets Hound apart from the other two is the speed at which the questions are answered. In the video the app seems to find answers almost instantly. It also seems to be able to pick-up the words you speak quite accurately. Although the quality of the video above isn’t very good, it seems to be the real deal and is apparently demoed by Founder and CEO Keyvan Mohajer.
The app is also capable of processing multiple questions at once and the video shows that it answers even complicated questions with ease. It seems to be using a very intelligent algorithm to process all the information. While we aren’t sure how exactly it does it so fast, we can’t wait to try it ourselves. Hound will be making its way to Android and iOS soon enough and is currently available as an invite only application for Android users.
