Asus announced the ZenPad series at the Computex 2015. We went hands on with ZenPad 10 and here is the detailed look at the tablet with hardware and specs.

The Asus ZenPad 10 sports 10-inch (1280 x 800) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection and is powered by Intel Atom x3-C3200 for the WiFi variant, Atom x3-C3230 quad-core 64-bit processor for the 3G variant and quad-core 64-bit Intel Atom Z3560 / Z3580 SoC for the 4G variant. Running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Zen UI, the tablet has 1GB / 2GB RAM, 8GB/16GB/32GB/64GB internal memory and expandable memory with microSD. It has a 2MP or 0.3MP front-facing camera depending on the variant.
It has volume rockers on the right side along with a microphone. It measures 251.6 x 172 x 7.9 mm and weighs about 500 grams.
The power button is present on the top of the tablet while 5MP or 2MP rear camera is present at the back that has a a textured pattern.
The SIM and expansion slots are present under the flap on the bottom along with docking pins.
The tablet can be docked into a Bluetooth Keyboard and used as a laptop.
The ZenPad 10 has a Asus branding at the back and comes with 18Wh battery. It is available in black, white and metallic colors. Asus is yet to reveal the pricing and availability of the tablet.
