Samsung is working on Galaxy S5 Neo (SM-G903F), a new smartphone in the Galaxy S5 series, according to SamMobile. The design, including the dimensions and most of the specifications of the S5 Neo will be similar to the Galaxy S5, but this will be powered by a new 1.6GHz Exynos 7580 Octa-Core 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU. This Exynos chip was leaked in GFXBench on a TCL P650M smartphone.
Instead of a 2.1MP front-facing camera in the Galaxy S5, the S5 Neo will come with a 5MP front-facing camera. It will run on Android 5.1 Lollipop, have LTE support and also come in Dual SIM variant (SM-G903FD) in some markets like India, according to the report.
Other specifications will be similar to the S5, including a 5.1-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory with microSD expansion slot and a 2800 mAh Battery. It is not clear when the smartphone will go official.
