Acer Liquid Leap Fit and Leap Active Hands On and Photo Gallery

Acer announced new fitness wearables at the Computex 2015. We went hands on with the Liquid Leap Fit and Liquid Leap Active fitness bands and here is a detailed look at the hardware of the wearables.

The Acer Leap Active is designed for the “young-minded” socially active users. It comes with three interchangeable bands and is ultra-lightweight. It offers notifications for calls, messages, meetings, and, social media. The band can also act as a remote control for your smartphone’s media playback. The Leap Active not only tracks activity during the day but also tracks sleep patterns at night.

Another band announced is the Liquid Leap Fit that has a heart rate sensor as well as a stress sensor that alerts when the stress level is high. It is water resistant and supports IPX7 rating. The Leap Fit comes with bands in gold, silver, or black metallic hairline finish and provides up to five days of battery life on a single charge.

The heart rate and stress sensor is seen under the display.

The fitness bands can be paired with the Leap Manager app that gives you details about your daily activities. Acer did not reveal the complete specifications or the price.
