Asus announced the Transformer Book T100HA Windows tablet, successor of the Transformer Book T100 2-in-1 at the Computex 2015 earlier this week. We got to check out the tablet, here is a quick look at the hardware in this photo gallery.
The Transformer Book T100HA has a 10.1-inch (1280 x 800 pixels) HD display, is powered by a Intel Atom X5-Z8500 and has 2GB or 4GB of RAM. It has a 2-megapixel camera on the front. It also has a keyboard dock with a trackpad. This runs on Windows 10.
On the right side there is a 3.5mm audio jack. micro USB slot, micro HDMI and a microSD expansion slot. It comes in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage options.
It has a USB 3.1 type C port and the volume rockers. As usual it has WiFi and Bluetooth support.
The power button and the microphone are present on the top. The tablet is just 8.45mm thick and weighs 580 grams.
Even the keyboard has a full USB 3.0 slot.
The tablet has a 5-megapixel camera on the back. It offers 14 hours battery life, which is world’s longest battery life for a 10-inch 2-in-1, says Asus.
The Asus Transformer Book T100HA comes in Silk White, Tin Grey, Aqua Blue and Rouge Pink colors and will go on sale sometime in Q3 2015 starting at about $279 for the 2GB RAM with 32GB storage variant.
