Apple announced iOS 9 and OS X El Capitan at the WWDC yesterday. In addition, the company revealed a new app ‘Move to iOS’, that makes the transition from Android to iOS easy.
The Move to iOS app will help transfer users’ contacts, message history, camera photos and videos, web bookmarks, mail accounts, calendars, wallpaper between their phones – wirelessly and securely. It even analyzes a user’s free Android apps and makes suggestions to rebuild their catalog with iOS versions.
Prior to this app, Apple offered a step-by-step tutorial to ease the transition for people coming from Samsung, HTC, and other Android phones. The app will be released with iOS 9 in Q3 this year on both Play Store and Apple App Store.
