Sony had announced the Xperia M4 Aqua Dual at MWC 2015 this year and the phone was launched in India last month for Rs 24,990. We have already seen benchmarks and unboxing of the phone and now here is a detailed look at the hardware and specs of the phone from all angles in this photo gallery.
The Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Dual sports a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 (MSM8939) 64-bitprocessor with Adreno 405 GPU. Running Android 5.0 (Lollipop), it comes with 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and up to 32GB expandable memory via microSD card.
It has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with 88-degree wide-angle lens and supports 720p video recording. Also seen is the earpiece and Sony logo at the center.
It has on-screen touch buttons and primary microphone on the bezel.
The 3.5mm audio jack and microphone is present on the top along with a secondary microphone.
Situated at the bottom is the loudspeaker grill.
On the right side the phone has dual SIM card slots that are covered with a flap. The smartphone has 4G LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 28, 40) connectivity.
The trademark Sony power/lock button is also present on the right side with volume rockers below it.
Also present on the right side is a dedicated camera button. The phone measures 145.5 x 72.59 x 7.3 mm and weighs 135g.
Present on the left side is micro SD card slot with a flap and a micro USB port.
There is a 13MP rear camera with LED flash, Exmor RS sensor, 1080p video recording at the back.
The phone has a glossy glass back that is prone to fingerprints. A Sony branding is seen in the center followed by the Xperia branding on the back. It has IP65 (waterproof) and IP68 (dust proof) ratings. The Xperia M4 Aqua Dual comes in White, Black and Coral colors.
