Samsung files a trademark for Galaxy S6 Note

Samsung is said to have filed an application to trademark Galaxy S6 Note. The company has registered this trademark in Korea and there is a possibility that this could be a larger version of the Galaxy S6 smartphone.

Samsung was touted to give the Galaxy Note 5 smartphone a similar design as its Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones. It is not clear how Samsung decided to come up with this name which is a mixture of Galaxy and Note series. If there is one such phone in making, there is a possibility that it might come with support for S Pen.

It must be noted that Samsung has simply trademarked the name and nothing else is confirmed yet. Earlier today, sources stated that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 5 smartphone will come equipped with a USB Type-C 3.1 port. In other Samsung news, it was reported that Galaxy S6 edge Plus will have 5.7-inch dual-edge display.
