Earlier this month, we had told you that the Motorola Moto 360’s Android Wear 5.1.1 update was being delayed due to performance issues. Now it seems that the update has been fixed as they’re now rolling out the update to the devices.
Wayne Piekarski, Senior Developer Advocate for Google posted the news on his Google+ account. The update brings about quite a lot of changes and improvements including WiFi support with Cloud Sync. It also gets always on apps and allows for multiple wearables to be linked to a single device.
The update will be available as an OTA (Over-the-air) update starting from today. However since the update will be rolling out in stages, it may take a while before it actually appears on your device. So do be patient if you already haven’t received the update.
