Is Samsung already working on a successor of the Galaxy S6 Edge? A new image leak by @OnLeak shows that there is a possibility of a new flagship phone – the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus and it will sport a 5.5 inch screen.
@OnLeaks states that the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus will measure 154.45×75.80×6.85mm suggesting a 5.5 inch screen. In comparison, the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge feature a 5.1 inch screen. Similar to the existing S6 Edge, the Edge Plus is also expected to sport curved edges. The phone may be powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset, instead of Samsung’s own Exynos 7420 CPU that shipped with the original Galaxy S6 Edge. Also expected in the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus is a support for USB Type C port.
Earlier this month it was reported that the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 might come with USB Type C port. Unfortunately, @OnLeak did not leak any further details about the specs of the phone. There is no official word from Samsung regarding the S6 Edge Plus.
