Airtel has launched their 4G services in Mysore, after launching 4G on mobile in Bengaluru last year and in Mangalore recently. For existing Airtel customers, the company is offering a complimentary upgrade to Airtel 4G at same price as 3G. Airtel also offers 4G on Dongles, MiFi (Hot Spot), Indoor CPE (Router) and Outdoor CPE (Router).
Airtel has partnered with Flipkart, Motorola and Samsung for offering 4G SIM cards along with select 4G smartphones and also introduced double data offer for select 4G smartphones recently. This will allow them to swap their existing 3G SIM for a 4G SIM easily.
Customers who have a smartphone with 4G support can upgrade to a 4G SIM at their nearest Airtel retail touch points across Mysore. You can head to airtel.in/4g/ from your phone, select Mysore, 4G for mobile, enter your mobile number and request for 4G compatible SIM. Airtel 4G is now available in Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Mangalore, Pune, Chandigarh and Amritsar.
