Yesterday, OnePlus announced that OnePlus 2 will support USB Type-C connector. Now a fresh set of photos are live on companies official Facebook account that gives a clear look at the USB Type-C connector.
As per the images, the USB Type-C cable is present in bright red color and seems to have taken the flat cable design. The OnePlus logo is also seen on the head of the cable. A small clip that helps users keep the cable bundled neatly is also seen in the leaked photos which will prevent it from getting tangled up. USB Type-C is the new standard and most OEMs are slowly moving towards it. The port is reversible, boasts significantly faster data speeds and offers higher power outputs than your normal USB adapter.
The next generation of the OnePlus will use a Snapdragon 810 processor. The OnePlus One which is popularly touted as the’flagship killer’ was a huge hit in 2014 and it will be exciting to see what its successor has to offer in terms of specifications.
