At the end of last month, we brought to you details about the Huawei Honor 7 and the various variants. Now the handset which is set for a launch on 30th of June has been confirmed to support quick charging.
Within a short span of time, quick charging has become quite a popular feature among most high end smartphones and we’re happy to hear that Huawei will be adding the feature to the Honor 7 as well. This teaser comes shortly after Meizu confirmed that the MX5 will also have quick charging. In fact, even the MX5 is slated for a launch on June 30th.
Aside from this the Honor 7 will use Sapphire glass protection for the camera lens and will have a customisable physical button as well. It will be a dualSIM handset with full metal body and fingeprint sensor. There will apparently be two versions of the device, one regular and one high end. The higher end device will have more storage and 4GB of RAM instead of 3GB. When it comes out, it will run on the latest build of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and will come with Huawei’s EmotionUI layer on top of it.
