Micromax launched the Unite 3 Q372 smartphone last month. We brought you the unboxing, benchmarks and the photo gallery of the smartphone recently, here we have the camera samples from the smartphone. The Unite 3 has a 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and single LED flash, compared to the 5-megapixel camera on the Unite 2 that we reviewed last year. It has the same 2-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has the same MediaTek camera UI seen on Unite 2. Daylight shots are decent, but the images are dull. Macro shots came out well and the HDR shots are decent too. Touch to focus doesn’t work properly at times, so it becomes hard to focus an object. Low-light images has a lot of noise, but the LED flash is helpful in capturing images in such conditions and doesn’t overpower objects even if they are close.

The smartphone can record videos at 1080p full HD resolution. Video quality is good. Since it lacks a secondary microphone audio is not crisp.
