Huawei has announced Honor 7, the company’s latest smartphone in the Honor series, as expected. It packs a 5-inch 1080p display, powered by a Octa-Core HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC based on big.LITTLE configuration and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Emotion UI 3.1 on top. It has a 20-megapixel rear camera with Sony sensor, LED flash, Phase Detection Auto Focus that would let you focus a subject in just 0.1 second and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flash for capturing better selfies. It has a uni-body metal finish.
It also comes in optional dual SIM variant and comes with highly sensitive fingerprint sensor that is present on the back of the smartphone, similar to the Ascend Mate 7. It has 3100mAh battery with fast charging capabilities that lets you charge the phone up to 50% in just 30 minutes and 100% in 1 hour and 25 minutes.

The Huawei Honor 7 comes in Gold, Silver and Grey colors and is priced at 1999 Chinese Yuan ( Rs. 20,515 / US$ 322 approx.) for the 16 GB single SIM version, 2199 Yuan for the dual SIM variant ( Rs. 22,577 / US$ 355 approx.) and 2499 Yuan ( Rs. 25,645 / US$ 403 approx.) for the 64GB dual SIM variant. It will be available for order in China from tomorrow, July 1st and goes on sale from July 7th. The company has not announced its plans for global roll out yet.
