Gionee, one of the popular global smartphone manufactures has announced that it has expanded its retail footprint in India by partnering with Spice, The Mobile Store, Mobiliti World, Jumbo Electronics, Croma Retail and Planet M. “Gionee handsets will now be available across 1000+ stores and the brand aims to sell 35000+ additional devices every month immediately and scale it up at a constant pace in the coming future”, said the company.
The company is selling its smartphones through its exclusive brand stores, shop-in-shops and the company’s e-store currently. It has been expanding its brand stores in India and aims to open 250 brand stores in next one year. It also has 800 service centers and aims to have 1000 service centers by the end of 2015.
According to a recent report, Gionee will venture into contract manufacturing for locally made devices and is expected start commercial production by end of December in India.

Through this move we look at increasing our sale by over 10% percent in the coming year.
