Samsung launched the Galaxy Tab A SM-T355 (8 LTE) in India last month at a price tag of Rs. 20,500. We brought you the unboxing of the tablet recently, here we have its benchmarks. It powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 CPUs clocked at 1.19 GHz per core and Adreno 306 GPU clocked at 400 MHz. It has 2GB RAM, 8-inch (1024×768 pixels) XGA 4:3 display and runs on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) with Samsung’s own UI on top. It scored 14514 points in the Quadrant benchmark and lies behind the HTC Nexus 9.

It managed to score 1649 points in the Vellamo 2 HTML browser benchmark.

It managed to score 741 points in the Vellamo 2 Metal CPU subsystem performance test.
Linpack Single Thread
It clocked around 105.45 MFLOPS in the Linpack Single Thread benchmark.
Linpack Multi-Thread
It cocked around 236.22 MFLOPS in the Linpack Multi-Thread benchmark.
Geekbench 3 Single-Core
It managed to score 473 points in the Geekbench 3 Single-Core benchmark.
Geekbench 3 Multi-Core
It managed to score 1434 points in the Geekbench 3 Multi-Core benchmark.
NenaMark 2
It managed to clock 56.6 fps in the NenaMark 2 GPU benchmark.
GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex (On screen)
It clocked just 11 fps in the GFXBench 2.7 T-Rex OnScreen benchmark.
GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan (On screen)
It managed to clock 4.5 fps in GFXBench 3.0 Manhattan OnScreen.
3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited
It managed to score 4400 points in the 3DMark Ice Storm Unlimited GPU benchmark.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Onscreen)
It clocked around 8.46 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OnScreen.
Basemark X 1.0 HD (Offscreen)
It clocked around 2.69 fps in the Basemark X 1.0 OffScreen benchmark.
Basemark OS II
